The music was fantastic. Being able to watch behind the scenes as the singers worked with the orchestra to perfect each number was a great learning experience. An AMAZING opportunity - absolutely inspiring! I can't say enough about it! A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who made this possible for us to attend. We loved being able to watch the rehearsal in action - to see the interaction as they work outed various details -- to be reminded that even famous performers are REAL people :-) We're huge fans of vocal and instrumental music - and of music education - and I can't think of a better way for kids to be inspired than to have been a part of something like this. (Our son's cello was out and sending beautiful music down the stairs after this -- and our broadway music books came out - and voice lesson pieces -- and our house filled with music from reinvigorated souls. Sounds a bit dramatic, but honestly, the inspiration that came from this performance/rehearsal WAS dramatic!). Our family thanks you! What can we say?! An AMAZING opportunity – absolutely inspiring! We were prepared to hear just a small bit from the guest vocalists but they sang entire songs! Gary, Mark and Craig put on a fun performance and the orchestra, as always, was incredible. Open rehearsals have been a blessing to our family as well as our group of home schooling families--most of whom are involved in both instrumental and vocal music. I know my peers as well as myself were completely blown away and amazed by the talent of all the performers. Also, the Q&A at the end of the rehearsal was really special. It was great to get up close and personal with the Three Phantoms and Maestro Topilow.
